Top House Democrats Struggling On Health Care Bill

WASHINGTON – Top House Democrats sought to minimize the impact of a near-certain missed deadline for health care legislation on Tuesday as the leadership struggled to ease the concerns of rank-and-file critics.

"I'm disappointed of course because I really hoped that we could have gotten a bill out of here by the end of this month," said Rep. Charles Rangel, D-N.Y., and chairman of one of the three committees at work on the measure.

You mean like Poe getting up there and lying outright, trying to scare seniors, etc....

Wake up. Who are you getting your healthcare through now? Wayne Pump? Dresser? Chris Craft?

Wake up. Right now, we're paying more and getting less.

Rangel, how about your ethics violations? Where are they, why isn't that being Rushed? Maybe you should stall this bill and keep our eyes on healthcare debacle instead of on you.

DJH-so instead we should fork over more money to Fedzilla and get even less healthcare...the solutions are simple tort reform and expand schip to actually cover children, fix fraud in Medicaid and Medicare, stop illegals from getting insurance on our dime-we can't stop them from receiving care that's on a case by case basis at the emergency room or doctor's office

Lets slow it down, can we all read it? Republicans are throwing out a lot of scare tactics. What is their answer to the problem? Or do they think there is no problem?
