The Public Hearing on Hebron's Comprehensive Plan will take place on FRIDAY, 7/31/09, at 7:00 p.m. at the Lion's Den in Hebron, MD.
Hebron's scheduling of this hearing on a Friday night appears calculated to ensure that County and State officials as well as citizens will not attend. Hebron is trying to avoid a repeat of prior public hearings held on regular workweek timeslots when large numbers of opponents showed up.
In disrespect of the County, Hebron has set its public hearing not even waiting a couple of days until Hebron meets with the County on 8/4/09 about the Comp Plan.
Please make every effort to attend this public hearing on Friday night--and show the Hebron Planning Commission that the citizens will be heard. If you care about Hebron, be there!

Hey, with Hebron you never know whether a meetin' is on or off or what day or what time...........there seemed to be some sort of meeting there yesterday at 7:30 a.m., but nobody is acknowledging it.
It's a crazy world in Hebron.
