I was recently annoyed at a newer Blog called Carroll Standard because they seemed to be copying AP articles and posting them as their own. There was no reference to "AP" and or links to the original articles. The standard when doing so would be to use the first two paragraphs and then link to the balance of the article from the AP, (Associated Press).
I contacted the Editor of Blognetnews and they immediately took a look at their Site and agreed, there was no original content whatsoever. David Mastio replied, "I have removed them until they can give me a reasonable feed. Thanks for the tip."
My hat is tipped to David for taking the time to look at this as this could reflect Blognetnews reputation/image. While we have even been guilty of receiving an e-mail with information on it written from someone else, if it says "AP" on it or comes with a author, we will research it to see if we can find where it came from and place a link to it. That is not always easy to find, especially photos. Nevertheless, Carroll Standard was copying everything they Posted and this just isn't right.
I even noticed Monoblogue using a cartoon the other day without a link. Other Bloggers have given me crap for doing that and we have stopped that practice because they're right. Sometimes there's just not enough time in a day to run around trying to find where some of these came from, especially when they're forwarded in an e-mail. We all need to work on this more.

Funny that you mention this. Several weeks ago I commented about this blog using photos with no credit or links to the photographer.
they will tell you that the dogs are eating better than the owner is. Complain to neighborhood services about the house also.
What about all of the New Castle County news you've been posting. It's nothing original to you. Sounds kinda hypocritical to me.
Let me explain a little something to you, the New Castle County information are PRESS RELEASES from the State Police. Get a life!
