State Police Probe Theft Of Dog

Rehoboth Beach – The Delaware State Police are currently investigating a theft of a miniature Yorkshire terrier that occurred at East Coast Exotics located in the Rehoboth Mall.

Troopers responded to the business yesterday at approximately 6:20 pm and learned three subjects removed the dog from the business without paying for it. The dog was valued at approximately $1600.00.

The three suspects have been described as one white male and two white female juveniles. Both females were described as 5’03” to 5’05” and weighing between 110 and 130 pounds. Of particular interest is the fact that one of the females was wearing a black knit cap with Tinker Bell on the front and she had two lip rings on her lower lip. The male was described as approximately 6’ tall with short brown hair.

Currently, no video surveillance is available. Anyone with information on this crime is asked to contact investigators at Troop 7 at 302.645.5020 or Crime Stoppers at 1.800.TIP.3333.
