Apple Pie & Chevrolets

Isn't it amazing how the landscape of America is changing. I took this picture the other day while traveling the back road of Delaware. Perhaps I'm starting to become historic because these old Barns are disappearing and who knows, General Motors might be gone soon too. Well, at least we still have apple pies in the mean time and pictures that can make these fond memories last forever. Have a great day today Folks!

We have a Chevy Cobalt, the oil has been changed on a regular basis. While the dealer was test driving it, after another oil change and brake work, the engine seized. Now we have a 2005 Chevy Cobalt with 80,000 miles as a paper weight. They want $3000 for a used engine with a 30 day warranty and GM won't do anything.

GM going out of business.......
A couple things come to mind....
"You reap what you sow!"
or
"The Lord works in mysterious ways!"

I'm sure we aren't the first or the last GM treated this way.

"GM, the Madoff of the auto world!"

The barn is located in Laurel and it is still a working barn that boards horses. It is sad because I remember as a child going "games shoes" (that's what western horse people without a lot of money do) there & the barn & house being in much, much better condition.
