William R. Panuski, 38, of the 2600 block of Belair Drive in Wilmington, Delaware
Resume: As a result of an undercover investigation, on March the 5th, members of the Child Predator Task Force, University of Delaware Police Dept., and DSP Troop 2 Major Crimes Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence located along the 2600 block of Belaire Road in Wilmington.
When investigators arrived on the scene, they contacted resident William Panuski. As a result of this investigation, six computers were removed from the residence and transported to troop 6 for a forensic preview. During this preview, over 30 videos of child sexual exploitation were found on two of the seized hard drives.
As a result of the efforts put forth in this case, Mr. Panuski was positively linked to the crime of Using a Computer to Depict a Child in a Prohibited Sex Act. He was charged with twenty-nine counts of this offense.
Upon arraignment, bail was set at $290,000 secured. Mr. Panuski was transported to Howard Young Correctional Facility in default of this bond.

This is different: last night a high school student told me something interesting.
2 16-year olds in Texas were arrested for having child porn on their cell phones.
Their 16-year old girl friends had sent them nude pictures of themselves.
The question this 16-year old asked me was;
What can I do if a girl sends me a picture of herself naked or semi naked?
We are the same age but I can go to jail just for having it...

the sad part is he will probably get years upon years in prison - but if you actually rape a woman the penalty can be harsh. likewise, you can go to prison for selling pot, but if you murder a guy you can get a light sentence.

Are you kidding me? You're talking about "at 38 having kid pron is sick" as if there actually was an age where the kid porn was appropriate. And how "sad" it is that he will "probably get years in jail when you can rape somebody for less". As if you don't consider kid porn to be rape. You think those kids consented? What planet are you people from? This man is a very, very sick and troubled individual who needs jail time, to get him off our streets for the safety of our children, and serious psychiatric help! To think that he works around kids at an ice hockey rink too. Just...heart-wrenching. Oh, and "soul searching"? He's 38! If he hasn't found his soul by now, perhaps Bubba, his cellmate in prison, will find it for him!

I have to agree with the subscriber who asked “what planet are you from?” And feel the need to add that …..Yes, being a pedophile is a sickness. However, when that individual, who lives in the same world you and I do, doesn’t seek help for his sickness (as there are PLENTY of facilities who WANT and CAN help you) but continues to work around children, from the ages of 4 and up; that is when it becomes criminal AND all the sympathy for this individual should be flushed down the toilet!
With that statement out of the way…the only “soul searching” that man deserves is the one where the doctor’s remove my shoe out of his butt! Unless Bubba finds it first.
And for those of you who question my right to comment on someone I do not know…well I do know him! He has always given me, my husband and especially my daughter the creeps. And we are an extremely accepting family!
I knew the guy very well. He was a great guy back in high school. When I found this out, I was blown away. I would like to know what he was thinking and what happened to make him like that. My family that knew him back them was shocked as well.
