Kratovil Declares "Crisis is Solved"

Kratovil Out-Of-Touch with Problems Facing Working Families

Annapolis - Frank Kratovil, speaking about the financial crisis facing the nation, declared yesterday, "We solved the crisis." http://www.delmarvanow.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2008810070340

While our nation faces the greatest economic uncertainty since the Great Depression, Frank Kratovil thinks the crisis was solved by passage of the bailout last Friday. "It is clear Frank Kratovil is so out of touch that he just doesn't understand that families are really hurting," said Chris Meekins, Harris Campaign Manager.

"If you ask the mom who has to pay over $50 to fill up her minivan to take her kids to soccer practice; she won't say the crisis is solved. If you ask a factory worker who is getting laid off at the end of the month; he won't say the crisis is solved. If you ask a recent college graduate who is struggling to find his first job; he won't say the crisis is solved. If you ask a retiree whose pension is shrinking daily, she won't say it is solved." said Meekins.

"Kratovil is dead wrong. The crisis is far from solved, and the Wall Street bailout was the wrong approach" said Andy Harris. "I will go to Washington to solve the economic issues facing our nation, because there is a lot more that needs to be done."

"Kratovil's statement shows he is not ready to go to Washington," said Meekins.
In a flip-flop reminiscent of John Kerry, after opposing the bailout at first, Frank Kratovil also said yesterday he would have supported the over $820 billion Wall Street bailout passed last Friday. In contrast, Andy Harris has consistently opposed the bailout because taxpayer dollars were not adequately protected.

Anyone who voted for this sell-out bill should be run out of town.

It might have been fine for Ocean Pines, but for regu;ar folks like me, it was a stab in the back!

Frank will have lots of time in the near future to think and learn what Americans really need and want. It certainly isn't him.

Frank's statement is a big disapointment. I am not all that enamored with Harris, but he seems to have it together.

None of the politicians have a clue about how tough it is on the average American out here
