I think most of the view points that the Eastern Shore has on people OTHER THAN republicans is swayed and full of bias. It seems that no conservative on the Eastern Shore can simply open up and learn about a candidate. Immediatly, when a a new Dem comes into the lime light, the Shore flashes through theories of him/her being un-American, unpatriotic, and horrible candidate.
If you want things to stay the same...the dwindling value of the American Dollar, no real plan of troop withdrawl in Iraq, the ever-increasing unemployment rate, and the foreclosure crisis to continue, then yes...keep voting for the old politicains that never see a need for change.

Code Pink people have the right to support whomever they chose. It makes sense to me that an anti-war group would not give money to war-mongering McCain.
The fact that this presidential race is close still is amazing to me. 8 years of repulican leadership and we have the highest federal deficit EVER.
80 percent of americans think Bush has done a bad job and disagree with the path of this nation. McCain does not differ on major policy at all.
Please, explain to me the major policy differences between Bush and McCain.
And lets talk about Palin. None of you even knew her until a few days ago. And you still don't. Her views are extreme and hypocrytical
examples.
1. abortion - she will overturn Roe v. Wade - USA goes backwards
2. teaching creationism - there is a separation of church and state for a reason
3. earmarks - Alaska has the highest per capita ear mark request of any state yet Palin says she is against earmarks.
4. teach abstinence rather than sex ed in class -- 17 y.o. pregnant daughter
5. she is lying about being against the bridge to nowhere.
6. Her church has had sermons by Jews for Jesus founder that claim that Israel should be punished with attacks because its residents have not accepted Jesus as the son of God (you righties seem to feel that what a person hears in church is relevant)
7. She preaches to her church to pray for an oil pipeline and god will answer
8. Husband has both a DWI and membership in the Alaska independence party
9. she thinks humans are not the cause of global warming
10. she is extremely anti environment.
11. She is not sure what the VP even does
12. She will not talk to the media
Before you jump on this Palin bandwagon you really need to do some research on this lady. Admit it, you never knew her until last week. You liked her delivery of the speech and her looks, but you really know nothing of her policy and character. Having 5 children is not a qualification for VP.
I am sure you will all attack now, standing up for the next messiah
McCain offers nothing new -- where you better off when Clinton was in office or Bush... I know where I stand.

A recent poll of the World's Muslims who were willing to express an opinion shows that over 98% support Obama.
I can understand why blacks support obama at over 90%. That's just the natural bias that afflicts most of mankind.

palin has cut ak's earmarks, believes both creationism & evolution should be taught in schools but she believes in creationism, you may belong to whatever party you choose, even mr. palin, wants to keep ak pristine AND favors drilling in anwar(only 2000 acres of uninhabitable terrain,, has established 40BILLION dollar pipeline deal with BIG OIL for natural gas, is pro-life(if you're pro choice, you must respect her choice. she can't do ANYTHING about roe v wade.) for stem cell research but believes they should fund themselves rather than it's being funded by government, is CUTTING earmarks from gov't to AK(after all the previous governor had a ton of 'em), Bridge to knowhere SHE KILLED the bill, but was originally for it, wanting alaskans to build it themselves, so her daughter made a mistake, she didn't learn from the teaching(all those not guilty, step frrward.)her hubby's dwi was MORE THAN 20 yrs. ago(& it wasn't hers), thsnk GOD, she's anti government,(exactly what we need, CHANGE!!!!!),religiously she's entitled to her beliefs, no matter what & she's not preaching it for others to do the same,media does not deserve the HONOR to be spoken to (nutless scumbags that they are,) and cyclical climate changes have been around since forever...
