Perks Is Not Something That Should NOT Be Related To Barrie Tilghman

Yep, she did it AGAIN! Mayor Barrie Tilghman is at this moment in a beauty salon and could be there all night, if they live up to their word?

Nevertheless, at 4:00 she took the challenge of walking past my building again and I thought, I wonder if she was stupid enough to do this again, soon after she replied to a taxpayers e-mail?

Low and behold, Dee, Dee, Deeee! Stupid is as stupid does.

Somebody done been blogged. LOL! And I respectfully say that she's getting her hair fixed. Aint no Salon on earth can beautify that thing!

Taking up two parking spots , real
nice butt head. Getting her hair done , that's strange , she got it done at Jiffy-lube last month.

Damn, Joe...did you catch THIS?

"The mayor, City Council, County Executive & County Council are issued parking passes that allow parking in the downtown. As a part of our jobs, we are required to be in many different places for a great number of events during the course of a week."

How are shopping and getting her hair done "events" that are "part of our jobs"????????

If she's in a meeting, let her put up her pass. Fine. If she's out shopping, let her put a quarter in the meter like the rest of us!

And she's out in the afternoon shopping and getting her hair done?

Why isn't she at work for us? Oh, maybe that's a blessing. Every hour Barrie is at work, we taxpayers can be sure it will come to no good end for us!

According to her letter, the mayor states that the permit is issued to aid in her duties as mayor. Since when is it her duty to go to the hair salon. And as far as her salary, her $25,000/yr. is more than probably 50% of her constituents make, many working harder jobs than she could handle. Where is the parking fee break for those citizens?

Uh, $25,000 for a job where she decides how many hours she wants to put in is pretty f-in' good when the average household income in this town is something like $30,000 or $35,000. These folks have to work 40 hours a week for crap pay.

F her and her "woe is me, I don't get paid enough." What an insult to us peons.

Wait until the day that bitch is out of office and tries to pull that bullshit. I hope the new meter guy is not one of her yes men that will let it slide. No one else slides.

Barrie watching is not anything I am remotely interested in, however, I did read the comments to see what kind of reaction your blog would elisit.

she usuaually looks rather "bedragled" at Council meetings, perhaps having her hair done is an attempt at some kind of deportment or manners or class.

People seem to have no good words for their Mayor, I sure hope that all of them are registered to vote. And Vote.

5:33 PM

Those passes are for council meetings for the back lot of the GOB only. She is full of SH!T and she is abusing her executive privilege. That is enough consider her resignation. Barrie, do what is right and step down!!

Again the B!tch can't even park right. I bet she is drunk on her ass. Sheriff, sick your men on her and catch her drinking and driving.

Is this another new car? Does she relate to the reality of the normal Salisbury taxpayer?

Her ethics are based on the self-serving question, "Will anyone be able to catch me in this lie?" The casual observer would see her car parked downtown and assume she's on official business. That is enough for her to justify (in her mind) cheating her own city out of parking fees. Having pictures taken of her mayorness on personal business was an unexpected event. More of her lack of character was revealed when she answered the taxpayer with a load of pompous words instead of the simple, "Yes, I parked without paying the meter even though I was on personal business. I should not have done that and will not do it again." If she'll lie to cover up such small amounts . . .

I see she is a typical hate America person by the Un-American car she drives. Notice how many Obama bumper stickers you see on Un-American cars?
What a piece of s**t!

So because American cars are junk but made in the USA we should buy them? Thank God for the imports otherwise you would be driving cars that got 8 mpg and wouldn't run hardly at all. Maybe you weren't around in the 70's but thats when we let imports in the door because of the inefficent trash Detroit was producing!

I guess the simple question for the mayor to answer is, "Why should you have free parking while you're shopping with your daughter or getting your hair done?"

I loved the "as part of our jobs" quip. Does she really think shopping and getting her hair done should be in the "jobs" category? She is a master of the Bill Clinton word-twist. She does have a parking pass related to her official duties; you are to infer (albeit incorrectly) that fact has something to do with the question she was asked, which it does not. Her parking to shop and to have her hair done has nothing to do with the pass or with her official duties. One wonders if she honestly believes she is not cheating or if she thinks she is entitled to stretch, bend and reconfigure truth to suit herself. Neither is a very comforting scenario for Salisbury voters. As with asking questions to any potential lawbreaker, the question must be highly specific, such as 8:49 suggests. Her answer must begin with, "I should have free parking when I'm doing personal errands, because . . ." Give her no opportunity for the off-the-point-of-the-question essays.

Barrie, sweetie, you're wasting your time! The beauty shop has combs, brushes and blow dryers...not magic wands!
