Question of the Day, Fri 6/13
Today is Friday the 13th. This is the only Friday the 13th of 2008. Do you believe in bad things happening on this particular date? Has something ever happened bad to you or someone you know on Friday the 13th?
Not at all. It serves as a jumpng off point for several movies, omens, and all that, but its just a day.
My wife and I got married on a Friday the 13th years ago in Ocean City (because there was actually a discount price for getting married that day.) So personally, I think that day was just about perfect.
It' just another day. The bad things happen everyday of the week, it seems like. Our government is up our backsides, our media is warped and censored, our food is tainted and jacked up on every chemical possible, our land and water is being ruined by chemicals and poo....I hear Montana is truly stunning! I used to be so proud of the Eastern Shore...how sad. countrygirl@heart
I live my life free of superstitions (of any sort).
I also see little distinction between faith (belief that is not based on proof) and superstition (a belief or notion, not based on reason or knowledge).
I have to work today, is that considered bad luck? In these times I'd have to say that is good luck.
I sometimes wonder if the steroids used to raise live stock quicker (a full grown chicken in 6 weeks) has anything to do with the agressive nature of people today?
Friday the 13th does not bother me. However - black cats crossing your path - YES. Only b/c I had one do it, then 10 minutes later was rear ended (not a serious accident - but still)
My husband and I also got married on a Friday the 13th. 10 years later, we are still blissfully happy and have a rock-solid, strong marriage. We see every Friday the 13th as our anniversary.
All I know is that this scum has a court date today!! So For Him & His family (Liars) I hope it goes bad! Me? I will havve a great day knowing that KARMA is alive and people like Joe A. will have a great day, for being HONEST!
To Joe & others, I hope your day is great, the 13th and each day. Sadly most days are without worry. I worry most of what kind of America will be left for my grand kids and future generations. In what generation are year will Amercia be lost forever?
It was actually a good day for me...my hairdresser got her water fixed and was able to not only dye my hair, but she waxed my upper lip too!!!! Great Day, this Friday, June 13, 2008!!!

If I don't get served with another lawsuit today I'll be OK. LOL
Many buildings I used to work at and visit in NYC don't have a 13th floor.
I've ALWAYS found this kind of stuff stupid. Especially those e-mail messages that tell you if you don't pass it on bad things will happen to you.
Here's a great one. "Grandpa, don't step on that crack or it will break your Momma's back."

Nope, Friday the 13th is only a bad day if you're a Knight Templar. And then...it SUCKS.
