All Washed Up?

While Linnens of the Week relocated to Delaware, another company moves in to replace them.

Mitch Wyatt, formally of Wyatt Wholesale (his father owned the Coors distributors) is getting ready to open a new Linen Company here locally. I bet he's smart enough to do it out of the City limits too.

IMO, it won't be long before one of them is out of business here locally.

Mitch Wyatt is not the business man you think he is. I am very surprised his 2 businesses on Nanticoke RD have not washed up and right off the face of the EARTH. Ask people he holds accounts with how hard he is to get a payment out of.....let alone a payment on time!!!!!

What 2 businesses does he own on Nanticoke Rd?

He owns Red Oak car wash & laundry. He HAD to sell Bubble Junction on Parsons Road because he could not pay the mortgage. The new managment has really cleaned it up.

Did Donny Hall buy that car wash and laundry from him? He's done a fabulous job if the credit goes to him. Shame the mayor and her monkeys are screwing him and his customers on water and sewer rates.

Anyone who intentionally locates a business within the city limits of SBY is nuts, and is asking for trouble. With the anti-business climate within the walls of GOB there is no benefit at all to being here. Anyone who doesn't see the trend towards the north, both because of favorable taxing and taxes, isn't looking very hard.

Mitch still owns the laundry business on Nanticoke Rd. I am surprised it's in the city limits though, that is going to be a tough nut to crack just from the overhead in water and sewer alone.

Since this is an election year the citizens of Salisbury better brace themselves for another double digit tax increase next year to go along with that 5 year plan to increase water and sewer 65% if Shanie is re-elected.

I bet I could get more votes there than Shanie and I live on the other side of the bridge. What did she get 300 votes? What a F'in mandate.

take him on in golf - I'm sure he would "settle your account".

It is my understanding that Mitch's outflow limits of BOD's is the same as Linens of the Weeks. This is one of the main reasons Linens of the Weeks is doing what they are doing. Lets see how Salisbury reacts to his outflow. Business' beware of promises that may not be fulfilled.

Seems that Mitch only wants "10" accounts and operate out of the laundry mat. "Out of a laundry mat!!" In serving our local community there is much more to doing textiles than putting tide detergent in to get the product clean. There is special training that is mandatory to laundry certain items, special chemicals to get product clean and bacteria free, etc. not to mention outflow limits.

I have been doing business with Mitch Wyatt for many years and he is the most honest person I know.
I am sure the cicumstances he is up against in the city are tough....best of luck Mitch.

You people who read such trash every day know not of what you speak. To try putting hate and distrust in another's mind sounds a little sick to me. Circumstances with the city may not have been the same when Mitch bought his two businesses. The city of Salisbury becomes worse and worse to deal with - you city folk need a new mayor very badly. I am another who has known Mitch for a very long time, and I consider him my friend, an honest person, and another of us just working to support his family.People I know have the utmost respect for him, and he is a likable guy.
