GOP Senators John McCain and Orrin Hatch are objecting to President Donald Trump’s forceful rejection of the progressives’ demand that the Pentagon help some service members live as members of the opposite sex.
“Any American who meets current medical and readiness standards should be allowed to continue serving,” said a morning statement by Sen. McCain, who appears to accept the claim that a person’s “gender identity” should be endorsed by the Pentagon and enforced on other soldiers.
"There is no reason to force service members who are able to fight, train, and deploy to leave the military—regardless of their gender identity.."

A bum is all McCain is just a bum my uncle was on the aircraft carrier he almost sunk and his story of what happened was very different than the Not war hero John McCain's version he's just a crazy washed up politician
Trying to play for the camera and trying to cozy up to the Transgender and gay community is pure politics. The majority of the American people agree that transgenders and homosexuals have NO PLACE in our military. The reason is common sense, and would be a detriment to moral and effectiveness of our armed forces. Trump is not afraid to say what most people with any type of morals believe. I am not against transgenders or gay people, however the military is not the place for social experimentation. McCain is being a politician, I bet in his lifetime he would not accept them into the ranks of the military. Now out of gaining favor with this fringe crowd he endorses this lunacy.
