I will take the Warthog any day over any other plane for close ground support. Not even a close second. Any one who says different has never been under one.
to many experts on here. Actually the f35 is not grounded. The air force has grounded several of it's f35's at hill AFB, while figuring out the hypoxia issue which has been seen on the f22 the f18 and several other aircraft. so no it's not grounded. As we develop aircraft which push the envelope of human endurance this will become more of an issue. hence drones! unsafe for pilots? i would venture to say that depends on the pilot! or maybe we should just stop pushing the capabilities of our technology and let the ruskies and chicoms get the edge on us? you ain't seen nothing yet!

Actually the f35 is grounded ...
A-10 are best ground killer in our toy box with 35 with new gen jet bomber.
