President Barack Obama has not ruled out pardoning Hillary Clinton before he leaves office in early January despite her not being charged with a crime.
"The president has offered clemency to a substantial number of Americans who were previously serving time in federal prisons," White House press secretary Josh Earnest responded Wednesday when asked by reporters.
His comments were reported by The New York Post.
"And we didn’t talk in advance about the president's plans to offer clemency to any of those individuals — and that’s because we don’t talk about the president’s thinking, particularly with respect to any specific cases that may apply to pardons or commutations," Earnest said.

It would be the best thing Obama ever did.
1. It would confirm that Hillary broke many many laws.
2. It would remove the attempt by the lefties to accuse President Trump of revenge even thou Hillary did this to herself.
3. It would free up the congressional investigations to do better things
4. It would almost guarantee Chealsea's political career as a non starter
5. It would place a seal on the legacy of Obama's administration as the worst administration ever
She's committed so many, Obama couldn't think of them all. Trump will wait til February
The truth about the Clintons needs to come out. We have Blacks rioting in the streets that a woman who wants them aborted or in a cage didn't win the election. Press is rabid trying to ignite a race war. Expose this woman so we can unite and move forward.
How can you pardon someone or a crime they have not been convicted of? What is it a blank pardon for any crime, in which case she could kill someone right in front of 10,000 people and pull out her blankle pardon and there is nothing anyone could do about it!
Thank God for Donald. Now, thank Donald for God. It was nearly lost.
"How can you pardon someone or a crime they have not been convicted of?"
Presidential pardons are absolute and can be for actions for any crime, whether or not the subject has been charged. The pardon is effective whether or not the subject chooses to accept such a pardon. If Hillary is pardoned she has no say in the matter.
The precedent is there with Ford's pardon of Nixon. Is losing the presidency enough of a punishment for a war criminal with an arrogant disregard for anything that doesn't further her own ambitions? I don't think she should be pardoned. She needs to be "brought to heel."
He can't pardon himself...LOL
