More Than 2.5M Marylanders Cast Ballots In Presidential Election

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — More than 2.5 million Marylanders cast their ballots in the presidential election.

While Hillary Clinton won the state by large numbers, some counties were close. Anne Arundel County, in particular, seems to mirror what we’ve seen nationwide.

It’s true, in the race for the White House, Maryland is not considered a battleground. But when you look at the map, Maryland looks divided.

“Maryland is very, very much still a blue state,” says Dr. Mileah Kromer, of Goucher College.

It's not that it's a Blue State, it's because the Electoral votes are owned by only 5 of 30 Counties.

There ought to be a reassessment.

Dr Kromer should have went on to say more takers here than makers because of anti business climate and environmental regs due completely to democrats.

In Maryland, during a Presidential election, I've always felt that my Republican vote was worthless.
Am I wrong here, or does anyone else feel the same way?

Move if you don't like it. Plenty of red states within a few hours drive.

6:15 Yep. Just as worthless as you 😉

The only part of Maryland that's overwhelmingly Blue is the urban corridor.

Now that was uncalled for.
Maybe I didn't explain completely:
With the Electoral College system, Maryland ALWAYS gives the Democrat nominee the state. So what's the use of voting here for President?
Ya really hurt my feelings, by the way. Happy now? My mom says I'm not worthless.
