WIKILEAKS: Hillary: More Food Stamps Will Fix The Economy

Hillary Clinton argued that expanding food stamps and other safety net programs is essential to fuel economic growth at a speech to General Electric executives, according to an excerpt of the transcript made public by WikiLeaks Friday.

“Economic growth will take off when people in the middle feel more secure again and start spending again,” Clinton said in her speech at General Electric’s Global Leadership Meeting in January, 2014.

The speech excerpt was part of 80 pages of transcripts from Clinton’s speeches at private business events that her campaign flagged as potentially damaging if released. The file, compiled by campaign researchers, was attached to an one of the leaked emails of John Podesta.

You can't spend money you don't have, when you have a job that pays crap and your employer does not provide any benefit program and you can't find a decent paying second job.

But sure Killary. Food stamps ought to make it better.

Why doesn't she give some of the 2+ Billion dollars from the Clinton Foundation to help the poor?
So higher taxes on the working people to expand food stamps is her answer? Higher taxes results in less take home pay for the working middle class.

It's not like the middle class is sitting on their nest egg cuz we're scared to spend it... We're broke!!!!

How stupid is she??? This country is going broke on welfare programs. If Hillary thinks Food Stamps will make the economy better who is she going to count on to bring the money into the system the loafers on food stamps and all the other welfare programs?? All they want is a check, they won't work and are no lazy to find a job or stay in school and actually learn how to do something productive with themselves.

In her world, there will be no middle class. The middle class has slipped to lower income class. There will only be the wealthy that will run rough shed over the rest. Watch and see what happens if she gets elected.
