The package was sent back by a postal worker who recieves a paycheck wether they do their job or not,then excuses were made by another incompentant idiot. Is it any wonder the postal service is broke?
There should never be a deadline for a Christmas card to any solider lying in a hospital, I don't care if they get the card at Easter - the cards should be given to them. What a disgrace.
If you look at the stamps on the package, it says Undeliverable as Addressed. Forwarding order expired. That makes it sound like the address has been changed and it's past the time the post office will re-route to the new address.
There are USPS investigators available at multiple locations.The students should have been apprised of how to work with the system & take alternate routes.By immediately expressing outrage and not going through available channels the teacher missed out on a HUGE learning opportunity.Instead the students were taught to expect and accept failure.
Started 2014 there is no po box. Cards have to be sent through Red Cross. The teacher was given the wrong info
Googled it, that's the correct address....
Oh, well if Google says it's right....
