As reported here more than a week ago, Wicomico County personnel and resources have been used for partisan political purposes – to promote Anthony Brown’s campaign. Pollitt is his local campaign manager.
This afternoon and evening WBOC reported that despite its “numerous attempts” to reach them for comment both Rick Pollitt and Ms. Lee-Brooks, his public information officer, did not respond. We know and have reported that Pollitt was campaigning today – apparently he could not be bothered to address the matter.
That’s tantamount to admitting that he is involved in the episode in which the PIO was “requested” to send an e-mail for the purpose of smearing Larry Hogan at a press conference sponsored by Anthony Brown and Pollitt.

Tomorrow -- give Slick Rick a quick kick out of office!
In the face of ethics charges it seems that prudence in the form of zipped lips would be the advice of the county attorney until after the election.

Wrong - and the County Attorney should not be acting on Pollitt's behalf because he (Baker) is a public servant now, not a private lawyer. Rick should get his legal advice from an attorney paid by him, not the taxpayers.
Plus -- what about that "Mr. Transparency" mantra?
