Baltimore County police say they've disrupted plans by a 16-year-old boy to shoot people at his school.
Late Monday, police announced the boy will be charged as an adult.
He is identified as Sash Alexander Nemphos of Monkton.
Police say Nemphos had been suspected of stealing from three vehicles on Saturday.
When police interviewed him at his Monkton home, police say he told officers that he was planning to bring a handgun and two homemade explosives to George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology, where he's a 10th-grader. Police say the boy told investigators "he wanted to kill people."
