“LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES INVITED TO ADDRESS CITIZENS’CONCERNS”

Salisbury, MD… The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), Wicomico County Branch will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. This meeting will be held at Chipman Cultural Center (second floor), 325 Broad Street, Salisbury, MD.

The primary focus of this meeting is to engage law engagement agencies in constructive, positive dialogue with community members who are concerned over working relationships between the public and law enforcement (especially street patrolman). Following the rash of local law enforce- ment shootings, this meeting will give law enforcement agencies the opportunity to discuss any new policies and procedures for the safety of officers and the community.

For additional information about this meeting, contact Mary Ashanti, President, at 410-543-4187.

The public is invited to attend this meeting.

"Law Engagement Agencies"?

Spare me. When they first address their own community and the problems perpetuated by that community maybe progress could begin.

Why is there a hyphen in the word enforcement? Are you implying something else, like they're done on purpose?

What are "law engagement agencies"?

Ms. Ashanti --

Better get ready for change with Bob Culver as County Exec. not Slick Rick Pollitt the panderer.

Hopefully culvert will get the sheriff's office under control, they cost the County entirely too much and have very marginal results. They need a dose of ethics and customer service training.
