Resurrection

It was Sunday morning, and the priest had already preached to the adults in the congregation.

Now he was presenting a children's sermon. He asked the children if they knew what the Resurrection was.
Now, asking questions during children's sermons is crucial, but at the same time, asking children questions in front of a congregation can also be very dangerous.

In response to the question, a little boy raised his hand.
The priest called on him and the boy said, "I know that if you have a resurrection that lasts more than four hours you are supposed to call the doctor."

It took ten minutes for the congregation to settle down enough for the service to continue.

As funny as this is, it goes to show everyone how inappropriate this kind of commercial advertising is. All prescription drug advertising needs to be removed from TV, along with beer commercials. We have a massive Prescription drug abuse problem in this country, and then there is the alcohol abuse by teens.
We banned cigarette commercials, because it encouraged underage use, so does beer and wine commercials. By this beer, you get the hot girls, can't have a good time without Miller! Real cool guys drink so and so brand, the list goes on and on.

12:52 - I agree...if you can't get it over the counter is shouldn't be advertised..PERIOD.

Too many people self diagnose...
Ads cost money that could be used to reduce the medication cost...
Children don't need to be exposed to this in the first place...

Remember the Sabbath day , and keep it holy.

The TV has an on/off button. Select off and give your children a book to read if commercials bother you.

Way too much unnecessary analysis.
