Clean Up Of Crisfield Continues

The cleanup of Crisfield continues tomorrow and this weekend. Friday at 10 a.m., Saturday at 7 a.m., and Saturday at 10 a.m. we will be staging our clean up efforts from the Crisfield City Hall parking lot. Bring shoes you can get dirty, waders if you have them, gloves, a rake, and a smart phone.

Tomorrow we will divide into two teams. One will join Quadrant I team leader Lamount Potter to finish assessing the needs of his quadrant, which was the hardest hit. Adam Riggin will coordinate the various teams of volunteers to actually start removing debris from yards.

We are also fortunate to have volunteer crews from Peninsula Roofing (thanks Sean Fahey) and the Southern Baptist disaster relief effort with their chainsaws and chaps to do the hard dangerous work.

Finally, Billie Chandler is looking for volunteers to man a phone bank we are arranging to reach out to people who our canvassers did not reach today.

The Obama regime response is Evidently worse than Katrina!
People starving, freezing, still stuck in homes with no power, food or water!
The truth is, Obamas whole Presidency is statistically worse than BUSH!
Thank god for locals helping locals!
Thank you Joe!
