Udder Nonsense: Raw-milk Confiscations Begin

The founder of the Organic Pastures business in California is reporting that government health officials have begun tracking down the names and addresses of natural-foods customers and showing up at their homes, demanding to confiscate any raw milk they might have.

The dispute over raw milk has reached a fever pitch in recent weeks, with a judge ruling that owners of cows have no right to the milk their herds produce, and protests being staged by mad moms whose access to such foods is being threatened.

The latest report is documented at NaturalNews.com, which interviewed McAfee.

The report said Los Angeles County health department officials have “unleashed door-to-door raw milk confiscation teams to threaten and intimidate raw dairy customers into surrendering raw milk products they legally purchased and own.

Drink raw milk at your own risk. That being said, you should be able to have the right to do it. Also, this is all part of Obama being the lackey of big corporate farms. This isn't about safety- it's about big milk producers keeping you from going local.

What part of "illegal" don't you understand?

Who and what and for what reason determines what is illegal when it comes to what I want to ingest??
Certainly not the place of Government.

Where in the article does it say anything about being illegal. If fact in the article it says that the milk was legally sold and legally bought. Pretty son the government will be showing up wanting to confiscate anything that they deem to be potentially dangerous whether or not it actually is.

4:18-The corporations-in this case otherwise known as Big Agri Business.
These types of small niche regional sales are a hugh threat to them. They want to nip these types of farmers in the bud. Since we do have anti trust laws their way around it is to lobby the government for more regulation so as to make it cost prohibitive for small farmer and/or to outright ban certain things.

In recent years the fed govt has become obsessed with going after small farmers. This is because of the 10 giant food processing conglomerates that most of our food comes from has a massive amount of influence (the money type of influence)over the govt.
