Salisbury, MD – The Wicomico Youth and Civic Center has been selected as the location for the second annual Behavioral Health Summit, entitled “Caring for Service Members, Veterans and Their Families: A Summit for Healthcare Providers and Clergy.” The all day event which will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, is being presented in collaboration by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the Maryland National Guard and various other community partners.
Target audience for the event includes Behavioral health and primary health care providers, psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, professional counselors, substance abuse counselors, and occupational therapists. Members of the Clergy and others currently working with or who want to work with Service Members, Veterans, and their Families are also encouraged to attend.
Conference participants will have the opportunity to attend sessions focusing on:Military Culture Neurological IssuesPost Traumatic StressSuicide PreventionTraumatic Brain InjuryReintegration Issues (Including School, Employment Marriage & Family Life)Homelessness

LOL. what exactly is "Military Culture Neurological Issues Post Traumatic Stress Suicide Prevention Traumatic Brain Injury Reintegration Issues. If someone is suffering from this illness how in the world would anyone expect them to pay $40 for a registration, especially if they are homeless. Just more political correct bullshit.
The summit is not for the people with the problems. It's for those in the professions that deal with it. 8:10 you need to learn to read before you comment. Also the many disorders that soldiers suffer from are no laughing matter. Your lol just shows your ignorance.
