Immigration and Customs Sweep Captures More Than 3,000 Convicted Illegal Immigrants

Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials say they have arrested more than 3,000 fugitive aliens as part of a nationwide effort that targeted criminal illegal immigrants and immigration law violators.

Dubbed "Cross Check," the six-day operation conducted last week was the largest of its kind, ICE officials say. Arrests were made in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, the District of Columbia and three U.S. Territories.

Those arrested include 195 from Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. Officials say 20 of those arrests were made in Alexandria alone. Click here for a full list of cities and towns where arrests were made.

ICE officials say that more than 2,800 of the arrestees had prior criminal convictions, including more than 1,000 who had been convicted on multiple occasions, The crimes these people were found guilty of include murder, kidnapping, child abuse, assault and numerous other violent and non-violent crime, including drug offenses.

And, why in the hell were they on the streets to begin with. Keep Obama in there and there will be 12 million more. What has gone wrong with my Country?

2800 of 3000 had prior records.1000 had records like murder kidnapping child abuse etc.now how many ...according to the statistics here ...out of 20 million illegals are violent criminals?
It's time for a nation wide round up .its time our troops protect a country that matters. Shut our borders down.

Obama was breaking deportation records at one point. As you can see from the 1st two comments, it doesn't matter. Apparently 20million illegals all crossed when Obama moved into the WH.
