10K Race/3K Family Walk - Saturday, May 12, 2011 – 8:00 AM
Hyatt Regency of the Chesapeake Bay Golf Course

Get outside, bring the family, walk or run the beautiful Hyatt golf course! Reduce the stigma of mental illness – learn about mental wellness.

Early entry fee is $30 per person which includes the race tee shirt, door prizes, refreshments, awards and post-event breakfast. Entry for a team of five or more is $25 per person.

The Hyatt Regency of the Chesapeake Bay, represented by General Manager Ted Kanatas is the Corporate Sponsor for this annual event. Local baseball legends, Harold Baines – Managing Coach of the Chicago White Sox and Troy Brohawn, former Relief Pitcher with the World Champion Arizona Diamondbacks are the Honorary Chairs of the fund raising event.

Community members may become involved by registering for the race or family walk, becoming a volunteer, or supporting the event as a business sponsor. Sponsorship opportunities are available for the course, tee shirts & the event itself. All proceeds support the numerous patient projects sponsored by the ESHC Auxiliary. All donations/sponsorships are tax deductible.

The Eastern Shore Hospital Center’s mission is to provide the highest quality and most effective inpatient mental health services for all nine counties of Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Services are provided by a multidisciplinary clinical staff, including psychiatry, social work, nursing, psychology, activity therapy, and pharmacy. ESHC operates the only treatment mall facility in the State of Maryland for individuals diagnosed with a mental illness. Its current facility features a unique treatment mall program offering group therapy/recreational facilities, a gift shop and café operated by the ESHC Auxiliary.
