Do you believe the U.S. should change all election dates to a Saturday?

Yes...we should do all we can to make it possible for people to exercise their right. Plus, we would save money by not closing so many schools for a day.

How would they save money by not closing schools? Teachers get paid whether they are there or not.

The Constitution states when election day is for congressmen, senators and president. In order to change that an amendment to the Constitution would be required and that has a snowball's chance in hell.
In my opinion the craze for "early voting" is a violation of this clause of the Constitution. It defines election day, not election week.

Absolutely, yes.

11:40 - The constitution says nothing about the day or date for federal House or Senate elections. Where did you come up with that? would woul dyou just write something with out at least double checking it?

Sure, then more people could vote. Since the working people are paying for everybody else now, at least we could let them vote on their day off.

Sounds like a good idea to me,it would be more convenient to most working people.
