So, I'm confused... after hearing the extremely vague goals of the group, why does it need to be a "faith" based group?

Usually, faith groups do community service so they can use that opportunity to proselytize. If there is tax payer dollars going to this at all, then they will not be allowed to proselytize during functions... so, what is the point?

The only goal that was remotely connected to anything faith based was to bring together differing religious ideologies and dogmas behind one goal. However, while there is some diversity in religious perspectives.. the state is overwhelming Christian. I have my doubts as to how diverse this will really be. I also question what the real goal or intentions here are...

Will they care for residents who are atheist?
