Incident: Burglary

Suspect: Carolyn F. Dashiell, 50 Salisbury, MD

Narrative: On 1 January 2012 at 7:05 AM, a deputy responded to a reported burglary in progress in the 1700 block of Wilson Lane. Upon arrival, the deputy met with the resident who advised that he was awoken by the sound of breaking glass which led him to discover that Carolyn Dashiell was attempting to enter his residence. The deputy learned that Dashiell, who was visibly intoxicated, was trying to reclaim some property she had left there.

The deputy placed Dashiell under arrest and then discovered her to be in the possession of marijuana.

Dashiell was transported to the Central Booking Unit where she was processed and taken in front of a District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Dashiell in the Detention Center in lieu of $20,000.00 bond.
