Maybe someone didn't like someone putting their political and social agenda into a famous Biblical event. I'm pretty sure the Bible makes NO mention of gay people at the Nativity scene. This is what is known as "puttin' it in your face". What did they expect? Maybe next year they can have (courtesy of the Man-Boy Love Association) baby Jesus having sex with one of the shepherds...you know, so everyone feels "included"...

Its your life if you want to be gay that is fine with me. But you must know there is nothing Christian about being gay. If you look in the Bible it says "If a man lay with another man as with a woman they should both be stoned to death." It can't get any plainer than that. The cities of Sodom and Gomorah were totally destroyed by God because of homosexuality. So I see no reason to put homosexuality in the church. A real preacher would preach to the congregation what the Bible says. But your more liberal churches only say what you want to hear and to be politically correct.
