I WOULD SUGGEST YOU DO SOME MORE INVESTIGATIVE REPORTING.
ASK TO SEE THE CHARTER. THE ELECTION IS SUPOSED TO BE NEXT TUESDAY NOV 8TH--ELECTION DAY
MR MOORE HAS NO CLUE AND DOES WHATEVER HE WANTS. HIS DAUGHTER WORKS AT THE TOWN OFFICE SO THERE IS NO CHECKS R BALANCES WITH THE FINANCES EITHER
ALSO THERE WAS ONE LITTLE SMALL MICROSCOPIC AD ABOUT THE ELECTION. THE CHARTER I BELIEVE ALSO STATES ABOUT ADS TO ANNOUNCE FOR CANDIDATES AND TO REGISTER TO VOTE. HE DIDNT WANT AN ELECTION BELIEVE ME, HE WANTS TO CONTROL WHO IS ON THE COMMISSION WITH HIM
PLEASE DO SOME MORE RESEARCH ON THIS AS THE ELECTION ON NOV 1 IS NOT LEGAL

We have asked them several times to include notes in our water bills about such things. They have plenty of room on them to include notes. There was nothing mentioned in the bill that we all got the second week in October. We used to get the bills the first few days of the month they were due, the last bill didn't come til the middle of the month.
This past summer we were under a water ban yet the car wash remained open. How can I pay for my water at my house and not be able to use it yet I can go a mile down the road and use the same water and have to pay for it again. We can't even drink the water most days because the smell of bleach is so bad.

I agree things need to change in the town. When I signed up to run I thought it was supposed to be on the 8th and was suprised to find out it was Nov. 1st. It is things like this that led me to put my name on the ballot.

Denver Moore is a A_ _ Hole he runs things the way he sees fit and does not care about anyone but his own family. He is arrogant and stuck on himself. It is all about Denver!!
the first thing they need to do is amend the charter to only 2 volunteer firemen on the town council! which now they have 3 for the swing vote on every thing. wayne knapp does not even live in pittsville anymore and has not attended but one meeting in a year.the town water meters are not even being read any more so the laundry mat using 1,000,s of gallons of water ever month is not paying for the extra gallons of water just for the water and sewer footage and usage fees same as the homeowner using alot less than a commercial laundry mat or carwash which is owned by the fire company. i think denver moore has done alot of good for the ppl of pittsville in keeping the taxes fair and the water and sewer rates alot more affordable than alot of other small towns . the town will surely be doomed when vp whited takes denvers job!! he has swung the fire house kitty for decades and intends on doing the same as town prez! but his first agenda is all the fire companies needs like there 30 k sign and the 4k brick support for it to stand on all grunted by the taxpayers of pittsville. vote out the fireman and put new blood in the town hall, but always remember, cash is king! and thats why pete richardson runs the town of pittsville he always has got what he has wanted there and always will
wow, wayne knapp isnt even on the commission no more and yes he does live in pittsville in the apts by jts, it sounds like there are some sore losers in the election, oh and furthermore its no secret that denver and his daughter are not one in the same cause i have personally seen and heard on many occasions denver putting her in her place, as for the sign at the fd, if you pay close attention that sign advertises town events as well as our local town heros so the sign is being used to promote the town as well. moreover it is sad that any citizen or whom ever you may be would even criticize any funding towards the fd or any fd for that matter cause times are tight for them too, and who do we all call when we have an emergency, last time i checked i call 911 and the send the fd for any medical, fire, or rescue call.....
Don't any of you have anything else to do other then sit on here "The Blog" and BITCH all the time!! Have so Respect for your Town and the ones that are keeping it all going!! Denver Moore is doing a great job helping and looking out for others!! If everyone think they are so smart you go run the town and see just how much better you can do! And as far as Denver's "daughter" goes she is polite when it comes to talking with her she knows her books and all the answers to them. A very pretty young lady at that!! No one knows shit about whats going on unless your in that office all week. So Joe suck it up and get over your self.. Its all about JOE!!! Do you actually think you all are better then most of the people in the Town???
wayne knapp is still on the commission and last i knew did not own live at the property he has listed as an addreess anymore. pay attention to time stamps, the posting prior to yours was done before the polls closed. According to the charter the town was supposed to distribute information to residents and that did not happen and the election was moved up a week and added to the confusion. i dont remember the sign in question saying anything about the election. interesting little town, seems they want to keep it in the family, moore or fire department.
I saw papers up everywhere i went in Pittsville that said when the election was get your stories straight. And its not all about family it would not have been if Kathy didn't up and quit like she did before and the time before that and before... so who else was there to fill her place that learned for Kathy other then "Denver's daughter" (doesn't she have a name?) that was more less thrown to the dogs when Kathy left

Who ever you are bad mouthing me you should put your name on your post. I was not fired from the town I quit because I did not like it.
I really dont care who likes me or not, but you need to get your facts straight - my wife left the town for a better job she was not fired. If your going to post a comment either negative or supportive on here at least be brave enough to leave your name.
To those who seem to like posting there comments on Joes blog and cannot give your names are cowards.I was born and raised here in Pittsville and still maintain a residence here.Those of you that have issues seem to think they are going to get solved on here.The Town of Pittsville do have meetings on the third Monday of each month for Residence to view there concerns.Most of you choose not to go because you are stuck to your TVs or just to lazy to go.I have noticed that over the last several years that there have been alot of transplants from Ocean Pines moving to Pittsville because they were ran out of Ocean Pines for being a pain in the a-- there.We do not need your negative views here , change only comes from getting involved and participating in town meetings.You bloggers can come back at me any way you feel because you have a reason or excuse not to get involved.That is exactly what they are.I am not a coward to give my name it is Edward Jones and by the way Denvers daughters name is Carla.
