Herman Cain Waived Confidentiality: Accuser's Lawyer

WASHINGTON - Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain went on the offensive today against allegations that he sexually harrassed two women more than a decade ago.

CBS News correspondent Jan Crawford reports his supporters rallied to his defense, even arguing the revelations were calculated attacks motivated by race. Americans for Herman Cain the super PAC backing his campaign, said in an email to supporters "this is what the Left always does. Just like they did to Clarence Thomas, they are engaging in a 'high tech lynching' by smearing Herman Cain's reputation and character."

Would not bet the farm on this coming from the left. Could just as easily be from those who have the most to lose from his winning the nomination, namely Perry or Romney.

So Mr. Cain made a comment about a woman's height. WOW! What a terrible thing!! (sarcasm) Meanwhile, we have a man in the White House who is taking our country down the path of socialism and "CHANGE"ing our entire way of life!!! This country is in BIG trouble!! I will take Herman Cain ANY day over what we have.

It ain't the left, the right didn't figure he would be leading for the nomination so now they have to take him out. They have had this information for a long time.

9:44, that's what HE says. Let's just wait until the accuser has her say.

959-This issue was first raised by Politico, while being a respected news organization, they are featured more often on MSNBC then any other major "news" network. Why are lefties so quick to say it must have been from the right? No one from the right is taking his campaign seriously, he has nobody on the ground in any of the first(crucial; ask Guliani) primary states. IMO, he's doing it to up his speaking fee.

At this point, the real story is how incompetent Cain is at handling crisis. Krauthammer (sp?) said it best; Cain tries to wing everything without knowing much of the substance behind the issue.

Bill Clinton, the probable serial rapist, got a pass from the press, after trying to destroy all the women who tried to turn him in. Herman Cain gets called out for what?? By the standards applied to Clinton, Cain looks like an angel.

Anybody else see anything wrong with these statements/way of thinking?
