I am SO not surprised. I've lived off Walston Switch all my life and avoid that intersection like the plague. Ever since they put Wor-Wic there accidents have increased dramatically. (not blaming students; increased traffic = increased accidents)

People, SLOW DOWN - LOOK AT THE LIGHT AND THE CARS AROUND YOU! Drive defensively.

Wherever it is you're trying to get to in such a hurry will be there 3-4 minutes from now. You may not be.

Wor-Wic has become a magnet for the absolute worst aggressive drivers.
It is the privilege of law enforcement that are indoctrinated there.

However paneful, it's obvious to me theat the speed limit should be reduced from Winterplace Park until
the flashing light in Willards.

Thanks for the info Joe. This is the 3rd accident in the same location in 3 days. WBOC doesn't seem to think this is news but the more people are aware of the accidents then maybe that will make them use caution in that area.

How much would an overpass cost?

Overpass??? Speed limit decrease? There are 2 ways to get in/out of wor-wic. The simple solution would be to close off the front entrance or make it at least one way.

How about enforcing the laws already on the books and maybe SOMEHOW teaching people how to drive BEFORE they get a license?

I think people are taught how to drive as part of the things to complete driving school. But the one thing my father taught me and I practice it daily, drive defensively. I would love to get a motorcycle and have wanted one for years but there are alot of drivers, young and old, that drive slow, fast, switch lanes without looking, etc. I wish at least half the people on the road practice driving defensively. One can only dream. Also, another thing, does anyone actually Work in Salisbury? The weekday traffic is no different than weekend traffic. I guess everybody has a job that allows them to work and drive at the same time. Anyone else notice this?
