Feeding-Tube Case Pits Wife Against Mother

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) — A judge in Maryland must decide if a man who suffered severe brain damage after a heart attack should continue getting sustenance through a feeding tube at his mother's and brother's behest, contrary to his wife's instructions.

Like the Terry Schiavo case. The wife will get the final say, and it's a shame. My guess is there's a stud waiting in the wings for her...

anon 4:19 you should become a psycic ,because all you know is the story that was printed and you have it all figured out.How could you possibly know what the husbands true wishes are ,my wife and i talk about such things and she knows my wishes but my family does not.Think before you yak,yak,yak!

Ranger3325 - I think the point is that verbal wishes aren't good enough. PUT IT IN WRITING and have it notarized. Then, there can be no question of your wishes.
