10 Largest Companies On Obama's Jobs Council Lost 91K Jobs

Members of President Obama's jobs council convened on Tuesday in Pittsburgh, discussing ways to create jobs amid their own lukewarm record of job creation. An analysis by ABC News found that the 10 largest companies represented on the Council on Jobs and Competitiveness have lost some 91,206 jobs since January 2009.
The purpose of President Obama's Council on Jobs and Competitivenessis "to provide non-partisan advice to the president on continuing to strengthen the nation's economy and ensure the competitiveness of the United States and on ways to create jobs, opportunity, and prosperity for the American people."

A good idea.Who better than industry leaders to tell the administration what they need to expand and grow.In most cases, the more employees you have the more business is being done and more profits being made.It would be interesting to know what businesses are represented on the council.

Duh...1:42...the 10 largest companies on the council have lost over 92K jobs. The only reason they're there is to protect their own interest and make sure policy won't cut into them. Thats like hiring a pack of fox to watch your hen house!

They didn't LOSE those jobs, they CUT those jobs!
Anyone who thinks any of them are looking out for US is a fool!
They're only looking at their $ signs!

Duh 1:56 How many businesses have the same amount of employees they had two and a half years ago? After the new health care plan was shoved down our throats, employers responded and started to find ways to trim work forces. These jobs were not lost they were cut.As the snowball rolled, and consumer confidence spiraled downward, goods and services were in less demand and jobs were lost.As I said in my first post, it would be interesting to know what businesses are represented on the council. If you know the answer just give me a list. If you don't know,I understand

If you people spent half as much time researching the topic, learning about the topic, and offering POSITIVE feedback as opposed to insults, snide remarks and such, maybe we could have an intelligent discussion.

I know that's above most of your heads but some of us do like to discuss solutions versus finger pointing
and one liners.
