State Department Warns Americans Of Potential Terrorist Attack

The State Department is warning Americans around the world of the potential for terrorist attacks against U.S. interests, after an alleged Iranian plot to assassinate Saudi Arabia's ambassador to the United States was disrupted. In a new worldwide travel alert, the State Department said the foiled scheme might indicate a more aggressive focus by the Iranian government on terrorist activity. Officials said diplomats from countries critical of Iran should be especially careful.
