NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (AP) -- Virginia regulators will vote whether to continue a ban on dredging crabs during the winter months.
The Virginia Marine Resources Commission is only allowed to enact a ban on a year-to-year basis. It is considering the proposal to ease pressures on the Chesapeake Bay's blue crab population.
