Do you know how much harder that would make it to cheat and do drugs? No thanks.

I have run and won and lost. Trust me it is not what is cracked up to be.

Yes. I'm running for county executive and am going to kick Ricky to the curb for not doing the job he was elected to do.

No, I would not. My life is boring but I still wouldn't want it to be made public----nor my family's life either.

11:22am Hope you do run--I'll vote for you. Ricky does need to be kicked to the curb. I supported him but now I see he is not up for the job. You go!!!!!

no. been there, done that. i hate the whole system. one person cannot help this tired system anymore.

11:25 is absolutely correct. That is the reason that good people who really desire to make a difference won't run. It is tragic of our governments.

Just wondering, has Ted Shea been replaced yet? It seems like Wicomico is just standing still. Who is in charge?

12:08pm What is a EBT card?

Anonymous said...

12:16pm No, Mr. Shea has not been replaced. Word on the street is no one wants to work for Ricky.

What sane person would want to associate themselves with the crazies on City or County Council?

If you're not from the northern part of the state your vote means nothing in Annapolis.

If you're not a multi-millionaire your vote means nothing in Washington.

No, I would not mind difference of opinion or even healthy criticism. However our current culture uses baseless and anonymous innuendo as its method of communication. And it groups a candidate's family, close and extended, as a measure of his or her character. It targets underage children to embarrass or intimidate candidates. This has made many 'would be' leaders step back and simply stay un-involved.

No. It is all about airing a candidates dirty laundry (and who of us is without some) but people today take it to extremes and would not be worth it. People become more interested in the dirty laundry list than the issues at hand and can absolutely destroy a candidate and his/her family.

4:30, wow, so right!

For all some people referring to the "crazies" of the city and county councils, reality is most of them are smart, caring people.

It only takes one or two stupid ones or politically driven ones to make the rest look awful though.
