Search Continues For Missing Wicomico Teacher After Husband Kills Self

ALLEN, Md.- Wicomico County Sheriff Mike Lewis announced Thursday that the husband of missing school teacher Alice Elizabeth Davis has committed suicide. All evidence leads investigators to believe Jesse Davis was responsible for his wife's disappearance, according to the sheriff.

During a press conference held at the Sheriff's Office, Lewis said that Jesse Davis, 58, was found dead inside his Allen home at around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

A branch of the Davis family owns a 74 acre farm on River Road in Westover. It has 4 ponds and 4000' of waterfront. Almost never anyone there.

Maybe I misuderstood or didn't hear the sheriff correctly but didn't he say LE had the home staked out and noticed someone pull in the driveway and enter the house from the rear? Then the person reemerged from the home because they saw blood on the floor in the kitchen at which time LE entered the home?
Either I misunderstood or WBOC was at a different press conference.

1:33 - you are correct. I read the same thing. Perhaps it is our local LE trying to grab some glory from this trajedy.

What name is the 74 acre farm in? It's not Davis.

Look, if you have information or suspicions, contact the Sherriff. Don't expect to get answers to an investigation on this two bit blog. Don't be ignorant.

1:33 - you heard the same thing I heard - why do they have to make this so darn confusing?

Anon. 1:03,
Did you give the Sheriff's Dept. that information?

Spreading gossip on a blog will not bring her home. Anyone who has seen anything suspicious should give that information to the Sheriff's dept.

1:56 what difference does it make where someone may leave a tip? Some people may feel more confortable leaving a tip on a blog because they feel more anon that way.
LE shouldn't be sitting around waiting for someone to be calling them, but should have someone online constantly checking out comments on blogs and other sources where people can comment anon.

LET ME MAKE MYSELF PERFECTLY CLEAR HERE.

IF SHERIFF LEWIS COMES TO ME ASKING FOR PERMISSION TO TURN OVER ANY AND ALL IP ADDRESSES TO THOSE PEOPLE MAKING COMMENTS REFERENCING THIS CASE AS POSSIBLE EVIDENCE, I WILL IMMEDIATELY GRANT THAT PERMISSION.

YOU ARE WARNED RIGHT HERE AND NOW. IF YOU HAVE ANY EVIDENCE AND OR CAN HELP IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM, CALL THE SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT IMMEDIATELY. 410-548-4891

THIS IS NOT ABOUT JOE ALBERO VS. MIKE LEWIS. THIS IS ABOUT THE RETURN AND OR RECOVERY OF ANOTHER HUMAN BEING.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SEND IN ANOTHER COMMENT REFERENCING TIPS TO THIS SITE.

Anyone who thinks they are anon on a blog needs to do some research!
It's not hard to be traced from ANY website!
If you have information, or even THINK you might have information, call the Sheriff's Dept.!

I just can not believe the SOB didn't leave a note as to Alice's whereabouts. What a cold hearted person. It's like a final way for him to say "gottcha." He left this earth knowing full well the pain he would be causing.
