Drug companies have long kept secret details of the payments they make to doctors and other health professionals for promoting their drugs. But 12 companies have begun publicizing the information. I suppose THIS goes a long way in explaining why people are apying hundreds, sometimes thousands, of dollars each month for their medicine. Often choosing between food and drugs. And don't forget, these SAME companies get taxpayer subsidies to research and develop the drugs. The government watchdogs think this is fine. How's "the system" working? It depends on whether you are blind, naive, and stupid, or think for yourself. Also remember, one day, YOU will be paying (if you are able) for the same .17 cent pill that you'll be charged $25.50 for (per pill). I hope you have some children to help you with the food and electric.
