After weeks of boastful bashing his opponents B. O. now wants them to pass his latest economic stimulus scheme “right now” without any realistic scrutiny – just like he tried (and succeeded) with his Obamacare shenanigan. We were duped once, so lets not be duped again. And notice that he did not utter the term “stimulus” even once.
There is no point in detailed analysis of his ranting rhetoric – it’s the same old BS.
Until Obama signs on to doing away with the job-killing regulatory agencies and programs – EPA, OSHA, etc. -- and to cutting welfare entitlement (which he wants to extend further for unemployment benefits) and abandons his “lets tax the rich (read middle class)” mantra, Congress should “just say no.”

So you would rather take from the poor than have the wealthiest 1% pay their fair share. The rich get too many tax cuts and loop holes for not paying taxes. I have not been a strong supporter of Obama recently; however, I did like what he had to say this evening

He has a liberal agenda that, by his own admission, is will effectively redistribute wealth. Can't you see what these liberal social programs are doing to EVERY other nation. People become dependent upon them and when they collapse under their own weight and force the governments to implement austerity plans to become financially viable countries, the government dependent people riot in the streets. Fair share would be great; when the 47% of wage earners start paying the same net percent as the other 53, and the none earners stop getting "refunds" of money they never paid the deficit will almost disappear.

When they were boasting some mucky-muck got paid more than the company paid in taxes, that should make a lot of people go hmmmm.
This country has, and will continue to be on a downward trend. I don't see us EVER recovering or becoming anything near what we USED to be.

We make cars. We had to bail them out. We launder money. We bailed out banks.

We start wars. They make ROE'S (rules of engagement) to benefit the enemy. Our troops are getting killed and we are losing the wars while paying the enemy, countries supporting the enemy, contractors that over charge and make inferior products, all the while we are cutting military benefits and suicide is still climbing for vets.

9:58pm, It appears that you along with the other 48% that "take" and do not contribute, think that the 1% owe you something. Think on this for awhile....if additional taxing of the 1% would fix ANYTHING, everyone would be for it. But...it will fix NOTHING! The problem is the spending! This 1% bs is simply another scam/excuse to further tax anything they can, so they can continue to waste and spend. PLEASE try and focus on the root of the problem.....not the excuses!
Lets read the bill this time before we pass it. I dont want to ever hear again "we need to pass it to see what is in it." And how about those 3 days the public can read it online that he promised 3 years ago too.
Between this and Mitt Romney's plan, I might as well quit my job. According to them, I will con't to be penalized because of my good choices, Degree(s), job etc. I am sick to death of paying the amount of taxes I do.

The pre-game show and football game were great. Obviously, I didn't miss a thing by not watching this clown's speech. To all the libs praising this loser and vilifying the rich; have you ever been hired by a poor person?
It is clear that there about 45% of the people that don't understand economics and about 55% of the poeple that do.
Those that don't understand economics believe that they can continue to take from those that generate wealth without consequences.
The 47 percent is being used incorrectly. They pay taxes, just not federal taxes (just like GE and other companies).
Stop using the number becuase it is a lie.
As for getting rid of the so called "job killing regulations: wait until they start drilling for oil in your backyard and in the process poison your water, then we will see what you have to say.

Just a thought for you O.B. supporters. If you took every damn dime from the top 5% of the wealthiest people in the U.S. it would'nt even come close to making a dent in our national debt. The give away programs are killing this country and to extend the unemployment is a train wreck waiting to happen. Years ago it used to be 26 weeks and now it could be as long as three years. I belive in helping those in need but this will keep a lot of folks sucking off the system. And that's the truth!
Borrowed money for teachers unions, cop and fireman unions,and construction unions, to fund the same "shovel ready" jobs that didn't get done with the last $800B that paid for those signs on a few highways that said "This unnecessary boondoggle project broght to you by Barry Owebama and Puppet O'Malley"..

The top percent of the country of earners have almost never produced the massive jobs everyone is talking about.
The Stimlus wasn't a failure it just wasn't enough and of course there were those States that held on to the money claiming that they balanced the budget.
As bad as the Presidents numbers are in the polls, our useless Congress number are even worse.
