Wicomico Farmers And Hunters Feeding The Hungry

Did you know that one mature whitetail deer can feed up to 200 people? We are a nonprofit ministry that establishes a contractual relationship with local, health department inspected, and insured meat processors and negotiate a discounted processing rate for donated deer.
   
Hunters and landowners are invited to donate legally harvested deer, and livestock to the participating processors, and we pick up the tab. The processed meat then goes to local food banks, feeding programs, and ministries such as Hope and Life Outreach (HALO) and the Salisbury MD food bank. Local financial
contributions pay for the deer to be processed, and because we are a 501C3 tax exempt organization, your donations are deductible as charitable contributions.
   
On Saturday, August 20, we are having our first annual gun bash fundraiser from noon until 4pm at Gander Mountain in Salisbury MD. There are 17 drawings on each main ticket for a donation of $20 each or you can purchase 3 tickets for $50. There will be raffles and food available by Millies Road House.
