On July 30, 2011 at approximately 4:35 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to a residence on the nine hundred (900) block of North Division St. for the report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival the officers met with the victim who advised that she had returned to the residence and upon making entry into the front door she observed an unknown suspect on the stairway. The suspect immediately fled from the residence but was located by officers utilizing the description given by the victim. The suspect was positively identified and was taken into custody.

On July 30, 2011 at approximately 10:07 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the area of Wicomico Street and Goldsborough Street for the report of an assault. Upon arrival the officers met with an adult male and adult female victim who advised they had been assaulted by the below listed suspect. Both victims indicated that they were in an argument with the suspect which resulted in the suspect striking both victims in the facial area with his fist. The female victim had a cut on her forehead however refused medical treatment.

On July 31, 2011 at approximately 1:01 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the area of Baker Street and Brown Streets for the report of a malicious destruction of property. Upon arrival the officers met with the victim who was driving a cab and had the cab damaged by the suspect. The victim advised that the suspect jumped on top of the cab and dented the roof of the cab in addition to cracking the windshield. The suspect had left the area but was located by responding officers and positively identified. The suspect fought with the officers while he was being placed into the transport vehicle. During the booking process, the suspect was found in possession of a quantity of suspected "crack"/cocaine.

On July 31, 2011 at approximately 2:27 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police were on routine patrol in the area of the Brew River Restaurant and observed two (2) suspects involved in an altercation in the parking lot. Upon arrival to the area, the officers observed the below listed suspect strike the second male in the facial area. The officers were able to end the altercation and take the suspect into custody. During his arrest, the suspect fought with the officers and resisted arrest.

On July 31, 2011 at approximately 3:05 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police were on routine patrol in the area of Carroll Street and Waverly Avenue and conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by the below listed suspect for traffic violations. During the traffic stop, the officer requested the assistance of a K-9 from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Department. The K-9 gave a positive indication on the vehicle for the presence of a controlled dangerous substance and a search of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of a handgun. The suspect was underage for the possession of the handgun and it was found that attempts had been made to obliterate the serial number of the handgun.

On July 31, 2011 at approximately 5:30 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding arrest warrant charging the suspect with the possession of a controlled dangerous substance on January 25, 2011. On that date the Salisbury Police were on routine patrol in the area of East Church Street and observed the suspect discard an item underneath of a parked vehicle. The object was retrieved and was found to be a syringe containing suspected heroin.
