THURMONT, Md. - The Frederick County Sheriff's Office says a man has fatally struck his 3-year-old son with a pickup truck.
Cpl. Jennifer Bailey says deputies responded to a home on Kelbaugh Road about 8 p.m. Monday for a report of cardiac arrest. Bailey says an investigation revealed that a 32-year-old man was backing his pickup truck out of a driveway when he struck his child.
The boy was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The sheriff's office says it is still investigating.

dear god. i can't imagine what he is feeling. god help him to try and find peace someday.
Tragic. Reminds me of the fellow who fell asleep with his baby and smothered the infant.
