Irene Tears Through The Plaza

Vacancies are rampant, people are homeless living on the streets and the destruction is very evident.

OH, WAIT A MINUTE, that's every day life in Downtown Salisbury. The Mayor believes people are just tired and taking naps. The Constitution enables them to do so and there's no crime. "Help is on the way"?

I define "funny" as something that can actually make me laugh out loud..

Prior to 1975 those who are "just tired and taking naps" could have been involuntarily committed to a mental hospital. US Supreme Court- O'Connor v. Donaldson changed all that and now we are left to deal with the chronic homeless, who in most cases have either some form of mental illness or addiction.

Are their no loitering nor public nuisance laws? Will left wing liberalism speed the deterioration of downtown?

C'mon Jimbo, try to lead. You might like it.

Load them on a bus and move them out to Delawere or down to Virginia, and be done with it.
