Why I Won't Ever Go Back To Kmart

Everyone has those moments as a consumer where we say, "Screw you guys, I'm not coming back." For M., that moment came for her at Kmart when she came back to pick up a refill and learned that in order to take part in Kmart's $10 for a 90-day supply generic drug program, she would need to enroll in the discounter's new Kmart Pharmacy Prescription Savings Club for only $10 per household per year. M. chose instead to transfer her prescriptions to one of the many pharmacies offering the same price for her generic drugs, without having to sign up for any memberships.

My mother stopped going to KMart 20 years ago when she saw how they treated their older employees.

Just another reason why I don't shop there.

It's different and if you don't see that I'm sorry. While I probably wouldn't have used that phrase (but I might), it's not a four letter word. In the post you are referring to, a derogatory term for gays was used in a disparaging way. Sorry, I won't allow the "N" word either.

Regarding the comment about an elected official, I simply am not going to allow an INDIVIDUAL's sexual orientation to be discussed here. It doesn't matter whether I support them or not. If he or she wants to discuss it publicly, then fine. However, to the best of my knowledge that person has never stated in a public forum that they are gay. Even if they had, what's the point of discussing it here and in that context (ATF Gay Pride Week). You are or you aren't. Research sides on the side that this (sexual orientation) is how God made you.

What is your proof that it is a "mental disorder"? And yes, God made the mentally challenged as well. He also made bigots like you.

You don't have to agree with a particular lifestyle. You don't have to accept the government making gays a protected class. That doesn't mean that you have to be mean and nasty.

It's funny, at one time Maryland was considered a "Southern" state. Unfortunately, the manners and charm which can still be found throughout the South seem to have exited the Once Free State.

What exactly is "gayism"? I hold a couple of degrees, a computer and a dictionary and I can't seem to find that term anywhere? And no, I don't believe in the urban dictionary.

gays DO have the same rights as straights. they can marry whomever they want of the opposite sex JUST like everyone else. marriage is and always has been a religous institution (hence the name "holy matrimony). so you have our government redefining a religious institution - what happened to separation of church and state?

1) scientifically, homosexuality does not promote itself due to the fact they are not able to reproduce.
2) religiously, the bible states that "a man shall not lay with another man as he does a woman, for it is an abomination."
3) socially, it is considered disgusting through the majority (and we DO live in a democratic republic).

what do gays get out of this? nothing more than a title and tax breaks. i say, screw the tax breaks for married couples. then they have no arguement!

To the anonymous commenter that pointed out the 12:36 comment, I couldn't agree more with you. I saw that comment and thought I had rejected it but GA must have published it before I rejected it.

IF someone were to challenge me on that statement, I get each and every comment in as an e-mail. The rest of our moderators can only access each comment through Blogger. If they have already published the comment and I accept or reject it, my e-mail does not tell me it was already processed.

I have respectfully remove the comment and am rejecting yours as well because it mentions the word. I'm confident you'll understand.

I went there last night, waited in line for 20 minutes because only one register was open, then had to argue with the cashier because they were trying to charge me double what the sign said for my item. Was there so long, the sodas I bought while in line were warm. I will NEVER go back again.

Joe, thanks for the explanation and for removing the comment by 12:36. I do understand why you removed mine as well. That word if repulsive to me, esp. when we all should be enlightened by now.

The illegals love K-Mart and steal it blind while some overweight Loss Prevention manager looks at video tapes and tells her loss prevention employees at $8.00 an hour "do not be racist, and leave the illegals alone"

Funny her name is Spanish too!ANYBODY DO A BACK GROUND CHECK ON HER?
So let your tax dollars pay for the illegals education and they can shoplift at K-Mart to get their basic needs.
