Caroline County officials have thrown their support behind a planned Delmarva Power transmission project, but are not taking a stance on the controversial routing of the utility lines associated with it.
The county commissioners approved Tuesday a letter to be sent to the Maryland Public Service Commission, which is reviewing the proposed Mid-Atlantic Power Pathway project aimed at sending transmission lines from northern Virginia across the Chesapeake Bay and Maryland's Eastern Shore to Delaware.
Caroline Commission Vice President Larry Porter said the county commissioners recognize the Shore will need enhanced electrical transmission, but are not taking any position on the routing of the MAPP lines.

So, why isn't Pollitt and Wicomico County backing this. I heard that Rick's pal Pretl and WET are trying to stop it.
