State Police Searching For Two Men After Attempted Abduction

Location: Ridge Road at Parkway Avenue, Claymont, DE
Date of Occurrence: Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 8:00 p.m.
Victim: 28 year old Lynwood, PA woman

Suspects:

Suspect 1: Black male, 6’04”, large build. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, white baseball cap, and stripped pants.

Suspect 2: Black male wearing a silver watch.

Suspect Vehicle: Dodge Intrepid, silver in color, with dark tinted windows

Delaware State Police detectives are searching for two men who attempted to abduct a female in Claymont.

The incident occurred at approximately 8:00 p.m. on August 25th as the 28 year old victim was taking a walk in the area of Ridge Road and Parkway Avenue. The victim was approached by a silver Dodge Intrepid on Ridge Road. According to the victim, a male suspect (suspect 1) exited the vehicle and waved her over to him. The victim advised that the suspect then grabbed her and began to kiss and fondle her against her will. She then advised that the operator of the vehicle (suspect 2) opened the back door and told the first suspect to put the victim in the car. The victim was able to fight off the suspect and then ran to her residence. The victim was not injured. It is unknown in which direction the suspect vehicle fled.
