ANNAPOLIS, MD (August 31, 2010) – Today, Governor Martin O’Malley will join Lt. Governor Anthony Brown, House Speaker Michael Busch, Senator Catherine Pugh, Chair of the Legislative Black Caucus, and members of the Caucus to promote the first year of Early Voting in Maryland. Governor O’Malley signed Early Voting into law last year. Statewide there will be 46 early voting centers available for any registered voter to vote at for the primary and general elections.
For the primary election, early voting centers will be open starting Friday, September 3, 2010 through Thursday, September 9, 2010, except for Sunday, September 5th when early voting centers are closed.
For the general election, early voting centers will be open starting Friday October 22, 2010 through Thursday, October 28, 2010, except for Sunday, October 24th when early voting centers are closed.
