INCIDENT: Attempted Murder
DATE: August 31, 2010
LOCATION: 1100 Block of Nokomis Ave., Salisbury, Md.
NARRATIVE: On August 31, 2010 at approximately 1617 hours the Maryland State Police - Salisbury Barrack responded to the above address on Nokomis Ave for a report of a shooting where an individual was struck by a projectile. Upon arrival, Troopers located the victim, identified as Kyle Marquis COLON, 18 YOA, Salisbury resident, suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower leg. EMS transported COLON to PRMC for treatment for non-life threatening injuries. Investigators from WBI responded and assumed the investigation. No witnesses were able to provide any further information. The crime scene was processed and potential evidence was collected. Investigation continues.
